LEGO Digital Designer, or LDD for short, is a free CAD package released by LEGO. It can read and write LDraw files provided it has a valid LDraw.xml file.
The parts contained within the LDD database can also be exported using 3DVIA Printscreen and then converted into an LDraw-compatible format using 3dxml2dat.
